Hrefna Björk Rafnsdóttir

Hrefna works as an associate at OPUS legal services. She graduated as a Bachelor of Law from the University of Iceland in 2016 and will complete a Masters' Degree in Law at the University of Iceland in 2018.

Hrefna's specialty area at OPUS legal services is mainly child protection law,  criminal law and tort law.

Experience

Hrefna's work experience before becoming a law student includes service activites and volunteering work and during her undergraduate studies at the University of Iceland she taught a review course in family and inheritance law at Nobel Study Camp in 2016. Hrefna was an intern at Icelandic Legal in 2017 and was hired at OPUS legal services in the Autumn of 2017. Hrefna was also an assistant teacher in property law at the University of Iceland in 2017.

Education

Hrefna graduated from Garðabaer College in 2011 and enrolled as a law student at the University of Iceland in 2013. Hrefna completed a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Iceland in 2016, writing a thesis on property law. Hrefna will complete her Masters' Degree from the University of Iceland in 2018. 

Main areas of practice

Hrefna Björk has volunteered with the Orator free legal aid programme while studying at the University of Iceland.
